I loved reading this one. What is amazing about this book is some of the Shamanistic practices that you are introduced to while reading.
ReplyDeleteThe Shamans (loosely translated as "One Who Knows") are looked upon both as spiritual masters and healers. They have an intricate culture woven around rituals that lead to experiential realizations. I like the way Priya, who is a corporate trainer takes you to this magical world, making sure you notice at every point, the deep insights to be had and the lessons to be learnt about personal growth from these various practices, without really being obvious. The book is fast paced and the stories are so involving, that once you start a chapter, you just can't stop reading. Very fresh, very honest and different. Stands apart !
For a non-reader like me,this has been enthralling..I couldn't get my hands off it till I reached the last page..and when I was finally done, I craved for more...What 'I Am Another YOU' has done to me is a lot more than I can put into words.. It is an enlightment that leads one to a path of self realisation.I wouldn't stop reading till i reached the last page and yet wanted to read more.While I read the book I realised that the solutions to all my problems (small or Big)lie within ME.Thankyou Priya for this Beautiful insight. ReplyDeletePriya has so beautifully expressed herself that throughout the entire experience of the processes, I was with her personally experiencing the learnings and internalizing it... I felt HEALED of my own pain.
This book took me a different magical world where there is so much to learn and gave a different perspective to life. Each paragraph has so much deeper meaning and hope to overcome whatever struggle, obstacle and pain that, it enables you to make things turnaround and work for you.
